While you can capture beautiful photos of your baby at any age, most newborn photographers recommend a photo session within the first 5-14 days after birth. This period is often called the "golden window," and for good reason.

In their first two weeks of life, newborns are in a much deeper sleep phase. This makes them more content and cooperative during a posed session, allowing me to gently and safely position them into those adorable, curled-up poses you see in my portfolio. We'll pencil in your due date and then finalize the exact session date once your baby arrives. This ensures you have a spot on my calendar and can focus on what really matters—welcoming your baby.

Don't worry! Only a small percentage of babies are born on their due date. That's why I only take a limited number of newborn bookings each month.
